l am a huge fan of the stacked bracelets look aka Arm Party

You probably have noticed that l love stacked wrists. A siingle bold cuff might have an alluring minimal appeal but I love to mix and match the bangles, cuffs, wrap bracelts and friendship bracelets of my own colldection with vintage watches, silver jewelry and even silk scaves!
It's a fun, creative way to craft a very personal look and give pieces l had in my jewelry box for ages a brand new identity.
Here are 3 different stacked wrist looks l love but they are merely a suggestion. I invite you to make your own mash ups as for this look the only rule that applies is that anything goes.
The first look is my gingham rope, multicolor rope, and jute rope bracelets mixed with vintage silver bracelets and bangles. The two of them are form travels to Africa and the middel East and the third is greek. The look here is really chunky and bold and neo tribal.
The second look is more dainty and girly and pairs my grandma's golden watch with my rhinestones and crystals neon bracelets. It's as fresh and femiinine a rose bud, l think grandma would have loved it!
The third look is the most unique since l used a men's silk scarf (the ones that they used to put in their jacket pocket) “borrowed” from my mister, rolled and tied to my wrist as a bracelet. I combined it with my chunky loblster clasp rope bracelet and rhinestone and crystal wrap bracelets.

Which style you like the most? And most important what are your own ideas for the stacked wrist look?

If you have read my posts a couple of times you might already know that l share my timebetween the city of Athens and the remote island of Amorgos.

I first visited the island about five years ago and l fell immediately in love with it..

I imagine that for most people around the world, the greek islands are an image of blue sea and vibrant sun, endless hours at the beach and holidays without a care in the world.

Believe me it's all true but there is also so much more.

Amotgos has a natural beauty that leaves you breathless and an energy that you feel that moment you set foot on it.

Every time l am there l feel more centered, more relaxed, more open. It's almost like magic but my stress seems to melt away as the ship arrives in the little harbour.

This was the feeling l wanted to evoce with my new collection, a sense o peacefillness , calmness and serenity and in the same time a feeling of absolute freedom and joy, a certainty that everything is possible.

Throughout history, jelwelry have been used as talismans and good luck charms.

Jewelry has been an important part of many cultures, used not only for personal ornamentation or as a sign of wealth and social status but also as amulets of spiritual significance (see more in my previous post about tribal jewelry).
Neclaces, bracelets and pendants were believed to have magical powers.

I wanted my collection to capture a small piece of the positive energy that inspired me to create them.

Of course l do not litteraly believe that a baubble, however beautiful it may be will bring you good luck or protect you from misshaps but if putting on a necklace or a set of bracelts makes you feel a little bit, prettier, pulled together and more ready to face the day ahead, l think there is a little bit of magic there.

The Benaki Museum  is one of the major and oldest museums in Greece, an absolute must see if you happen to travel to the city of Athens
The museum also operates three shops that showcase museum replicas and an eclectic selection of the works of a small number of greek designers. I was very horoured to start selling at the shop in Piraios street a couple of years ago and l was even more happy to have my signeture kilim bags picked up for the shop in the mail building in Koumbari str as well as its newest space in Kriezotou street, thus making the museum my exclusive retailer for the city of Athens!

It has been nearly a month since l moved to the beautiful island of Amorgos for the summer and l managed to turn the second guest room to a worshop. It's tiny but has everything l need, and beisdes, l can always work outdoors in our (also tiny but adorable) yard!
