l am a huge fan of the stacked bracelets look aka Arm Party

You probably have noticed that l love stacked wrists. A siingle bold cuff might have an alluring minimal appeal but I love to mix and match the bangles, cuffs, wrap bracelts and friendship bracelets of my own colldection with vintage watches, silver jewelry and even silk scaves!
It's a fun, creative way to craft a very personal look and give pieces l had in my jewelry box for ages a brand new identity.
Here are 3 different stacked wrist looks l love but they are merely a suggestion. I invite you to make your own mash ups as for this look the only rule that applies is that anything goes.
The first look is my gingham rope, multicolor rope, and jute rope bracelets mixed with vintage silver bracelets and bangles. The two of them are form travels to Africa and the middel East and the third is greek. The look here is really chunky and bold and neo tribal.
The second look is more dainty and girly and pairs my grandma's golden watch with my rhinestones and crystals neon bracelets. It's as fresh and femiinine a rose bud, l think grandma would have loved it!
The third look is the most unique since l used a men's silk scarf (the ones that they used to put in their jacket pocket) “borrowed” from my mister, rolled and tied to my wrist as a bracelet. I combined it with my chunky loblster clasp rope bracelet and rhinestone and crystal wrap bracelets.

Which style you like the most? And most important what are your own ideas for the stacked wrist look?

Watching the Olympic Games in London had me thinking about the ancient Olympic Games that were held in Olympia, Greece which led me to think of the ancient greek gods and goddesses. Just for fun l tied some of my favorite designs with the major divine ladies of that time. After all why be anything less than a goddess?
If you are sensual and love to party then you are a modern Aphrodite. A sexy fringe necklace is ideal for you.
If you love sports and action then you goddess is Artemis the huntress. Acouple of easy to wear rope bracelets are your best bet.
If you brainy and sophisticated then you are a 21st century Athena. Carry your books in style in a kilim bag.
Finally if you like to be the center of attention settle for nothing else that a OOAK necklace just like the queen of goddesses Hera would do.

I like to think of every single Maslinda creation that l sell at my shop not as a commodity but as special gift that you offer to a loved one or to yourself. Since in a gift the packging often matters as much as the gift itself it was very important fot me to find a pretty way to packge my jewlry and handbags. waht i had in mind was l form of gift wrapping that would fit my aesthetic, travel well, be eco friendly and if possible re usable.
When l found some rolls of vintage cotton fabric l knew l was onto something absolutely fell in love with the gorgeous colors and intricate floral fabrics. I rushed to my sewing machine to create fabric totes for my kilim bags and delicate pouches for my jewelry. I reaally cannot decide which pattern is prettier, what do you think?

Neon fashion is probably the hottest summer trend right now. Worn the right way neon hues will brighten up you ourfit your complexion and your mood. You might feel a little nervous trying the trend but if you follow our simple tips you will look absolutely stylish.
1. Choose good quality fabrics, in simple shapes.
2.tIf wearing it near your face experiment to find the ideal shade there's bound to be one out there! While the wrong shade will make you look washed out the right one will give the illusion of a light tan and a glowing complexion.
3. Mix it with neutrals for an ultra chic and sophisticated appeal. The photo below is a great example.
4. Finally the safest, easiest way to go is (you guessed it) accessories. A clutch, a pair of sandals or a couple of neon jewelry are low investment,  go with almost everything and will spice up your outfits before you say orange!

Our signature kilim bags have many benefits: they are stylish, eco friendly, and their colorful designs spark convesations ever so often. Since thay are also super pracrtical, roomy, durable and soft to the touch, they can double as an overnight bag, a pillow to rest your head on the beach and as l recently discovered as a stylish pet carrier!
Her royal fluffiness Miss Puppy found the kilim bag very much to her taste for a stroll around the city!
Puppy beliongs to a dear friend but l have dog-sitted her many times and despite our two cats she feels very much at ease!

One of the most fun trips l ever took was at the 60th Cannes Film Festival.
l came along with good friend of mine who is a journalist and she was covering "Red Carpet looks" for the magazine she was working for at the time
As l recently discovered the fabulous Pixlr tool (that l strongly recommend) with all its dreamy, fun and vintage effects ,l decided to have some fun with the pics we took at that time.
BTW which was your favorite look at Cannes this year? You can see my faves at my Red Carpet Pinboard.

I describe my style as "bohemian" both for my brand , Maslinda and myself, but what does that mean anyway?
To me " bohemian style"  or "boho chic" does not necessarily mean wearing floaty skirts and floppy hats (although l qiute like both, just not all the time) but it is more about, individuality, confidence and the sexiness that results form feeling good about your looks and yourself more generally.

Honestly, l don't think copying a "Sienna"  or a "Kate" look from a mag and getting stressed aboout "getting it right"  is bohemian at all.
So if l had to sum up the essential tips to bohemian style these would be:
Be yourself:don't wear anything that makes you feel uncomfortable
Mix it up: it's not about a total look, but about a personal selection.
Have fun: because getting dressed should be a fun thing not a tedious" to do".
